USAF Fairchild A-10C Thunderbolt II, 25th Fighter Squadron, Osan AB, Korea. The A-10 was developed as an attack aircraft against ground vehicles. Next to a multitude of external armament, the aircraft is basically built around a gigantic, seven-barrel canon in the forward fuselage, that can tackle even heavily armoured vehicles. Also nicknamed Warthog by its pilots, the A-10 has many times proven its capabilities and reliability in numerous conflicts throughout the past decades and is supposed to remain in service through to at least 2028. 1:200 Scale.

When an air base comes under artillery fire, one hit only can damage the planes in the box, and the splitter boxes protect the planes parked immediately nearby from shrapnel. We now release a construction set containing twelve wall pieces, four corner joints, and four end elements in the 1/200 scale. The AN-225 holds numerous world records, such as for the the heaviest payload at 189 tons. This second to none aircraft is now released as a Herpa model in the 1/200 scale. US Navy VF-84 F-14A Tomcat ""Black Bunny"" (Cockpit open). A completely black painted, also called “Vandy One” F-14A, with which the test team VX-4 back then went public, caused a furor in 1990. It flew the “Black Bunny” on the tail unit, the logo of Playboy magazine as the VX-4 squadron’s emblem, which was erased from the airplanes after the so-called “Tailhook scandal” at the beginning of the 90s. The reason being to improve the Navy’s image after an incident in 1991, in which US Navy pilots sexually harassed female guests after excessive alcohol intake. The “Vandy One” model has been approved to carry the “Black Bunny” and will be released in two variants with the item number 550239 for the closed cockpit and 550314, in a limited edition of 1,000 items, for the open cockpit version. As such, it cuts a very fine figure on a diorama with the commensurate Herpa accessories.
