AF1-0110sm.jpg SEPTEMBER 2016 RELEASE: “A Bit O’ Lace” The latest from Air Force 1 Model Company! This 1/72 scale, die cast replica beautifully resembles “A Bit O’ Lace,” a B-17G Flying Fortress with the 447th Bomb Group that flew lead on many raids deep into Nazi-occupied territory during World War II. A real stunner, she wears sultry pin-up nose art based on artist Milt Caniff’s “Miss Lace” comic strip personality, and features a well-equipped cockpit with glazed windows, detailed gunner stations, and intricate landing gear. Mounted on the metal display stand, she becomes the crowning piece in any collection. “A Bit O’ Lace” is in limited supply. 1/72 125.00 LIMITED STOCK

AF1-0110Asm.jpg FEBRUARY 2017 RELEASE: First delivered to the 91st Bomb Group on February 24, 1944, the soon-to-be prolific bomber – named for the last three digits of her serial number – immediately got to work, flying her inaugural mission the following day. By the end of the war, “Nine-O-Nine” had flown 140 combat sorties (believed to be a “Mighty Eighth” record) without losing a single crew member. She also flew at least 126 consecutive missions without aborting, also believed to be a record. While she was scrapped after the war, the Collings Foundation has an airworthy B-17 Flying Fortress currently painted in commemoration of the legendary bomber. Impressively sized at nearly a foot and a half in wingspan, this 1/72 scale, die cast reproduction is a unique tribute to the “Nine-O-Nine” and features its signature nose art, a glazed nose and canopy, rotating propellers, optional-position landing gear, a display stand, and more! 1/72 112.00 PRE-ORDER DUE FEBRUARY 2017

AF1-0150sm.jpg MAY 2017 RELEASE: Pudgy IV 431st FS, 475th FG, Maj. Thomas McGuire, P-38J Lightning 1/48 Die Cast Model. The second highest-scoring American pilot of World War II, Major Thomas McGuire of the 475th Fighter Group tallied his first kill on August 18, 1943 a day he took down three Imperial warbirds. The following day, after two more takedowns, he was already an ace. All of Major McGuire’s victories were scored in P-38 Lightnings of which he flew numerous iterations, each nicknamed after his new wife: Pudgy. While piloting Pudgy IV on October 24, 1944, McGuire shot down two Oscars over the Philippines before being forced to land and give up his cherished warplane to the 49th Fighter Group, a unit which suffered heavy attrition. The newest release from Air Force 1, this 1/48 scale, die cast reproduction of McGuire’s “Pudgy IV” features a striking attention to historical detail including authentic nose art, a glazed canopy, optional-position landing gear, and an all-metal display stand. 12ľ"" wingspan. 1/48 99.95 PRE-ORDER DUE MAY 2017

AF1-0088Asm.jpg SIGNATURE EDITION, SR-71 (61-7975), Maj. Terry Pappas & Capt. John Manzi, Persian Gulf, 1987. During the Iraq-Iran War, Major Terry Pappas and Captain John Manzi launched their SR-71A from Kadena Air Base in Okinawa, Japan, with a distant target in the Persian Gulf. Facing perhaps the most ominous weather of their flying careers, they were required to stay in close formation with the refueling tanker aircraft — often within 12 feet — for nearly a third of their harrowing journey. Ultimately, the Blackbird required ve air refuelings, and the non-stop ight took over 11 hours, one of the most grueling and challenging missions ever attempted by the Air Force pilots. 1/72 109.00 LIMITED STOCK
